Ukraine changed tax regulation in soy and rapeseeds exports-27.05.2020
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the bill adopted on January 16, 2020 by the Verkhovna Rada on amendments to the Tax Code No. 1210, including provides for the abolition of the so-called "soybean edits." “Today, the President of Ukraine signed a law abolishing the so-called“ soya-based edits. ” For almost 2.5 years, the fight against “soybean edits” that abolished VAT refunds for soybean and rapeseed from September 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021; rapeseed from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. As a result of this decision, Ukrainian small and medium agricultural businesses annually lost hundreds of hryvnias per ton of soybeans sold, ”he recalled.
As reported, in December 2019, V. Zelensky called on the government and parliament to adopt a document supporting Ukrainian producers of agricultural products and the abolition of “soybean edits”.
