As of November 1, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 54.863 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 12.685 mln ha, or 89% of the plan. The average yield totaled 4.33 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 54.94 mln tonnes.

In particular, agrarians continued harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 15.836 mln tonnes of the grain throughout 2.668 mln ha (63%). The average yield reached 5.94 t/ha.

Also, Ukraine harvested 188 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 147 thsd ha (99%). The average yield totaled 1.27 t/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 102 thsd ha (98%). The production volumes totaled 186 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.83 t/ha.

Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 12.243 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 5.547 mln ha (94%), with the average yield of 2.21 t/ha.

Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 3.524 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 1.606 mln ha (87%), with the average yield of 2.19 t/ha.

Ukraine continued realizing the planting campaign of winter grains. As of November 1, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 6.682 mln ha (89% of the plan), up 316 thsd ha compared with the same date last year.

In particular, Ukraine planted winter wheat and triticale throughout 5.656 mln ha (91%), winter rye – 154 thsd ha (104%), and winter barley – 772 thsd ha (75%). Also, Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 798 thsd ha (110%).
