Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2022/23 season has come to 3.621 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of August 29 dropped by 4.017 mln t, 53% down YoY.

Maritime ports of Ukraine were blocked by russia since February 24, 2022, the day this country started a full-scale war against Ukraine, until on 22 July a grain deal was signed in Turkey.
As of August 25, early crops harvesting in Ukraine was completed on 6.6 mln ha (59% of the proj. areas).
