Grain harvesting more than 40% completed in Ukraine - 05.08.2022

As of August 4, Ukrainian farmers harvested grains and pulses throughout 4.8 mln ha or 41% of a plan, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy informed. Production volume reached 17.5 mln tonnes with an average yield of 3.64 t/ha.

Particularly, farmers have harvested:

• 3.5 mln ha of wheat, crop reached 12.6 mln tonnes so far with yield of 3.6 t/ha;
• 1.3 mln ha of barley (4.4 mln tonnes, 3.38 t/ha);
• 101 thsd ha of peas (226 thsd tonnes, 2.24 t/ha).

Moreover, farmers have already reaped 2.5 mln tonnes of rapeseed throughout 929 thsd ha (79%).
