According to APK-Inform, the indicative FOB offer prices of Ukrainian feed barley decreased last week.
The prices were pressured by low demand for Ukrainian barley, partially due to slowdown of movement of ships via the “grain corridor” by 50%, prolonged uncertainty regarding the operation of the “corridor”, unfavorable weather in Istanbul and the rotation of staff and inspectors of the JCC. In addition, the pace of inspections of ships slowed down again, which led to the formation of a queue. Expected record barley crop in Russia and completion of planting campaign in Ukraine weighted on the prices as well.
The offer prices of barley for delivery in December decreased by 5-10 USD/t to 260-280 USD/t FOB Black Sea.
