Wheat harvesting 91% completed in Ukraine - 19.08.2022

As of August 18, Ukrainian farmers harvested grains and pulses throughout 6.1 mln ha or 55% of a plan, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy informed. Production volume reached 23.4 mln tonnes with an average yield of 3.82 t/ha.

Particularly, farmers have harvested:

• 4.3 mln ha of wheat (91% of plan), crop reached 17.4 mln tonnes so far with yield of 4.04 t/ha;
• 1.5 mln ha of barley (96%; 5.3 mln tonnes, 3.45 t/ha);
• 106.8 thsd ha of peas (97%; 243.7 thsd tonnes, 2.26 t/ha);
• 3.2 thsd tonnes of millet (95%; 7.7 thsd tonnes, 2.39 t/ha).

Moreover, farmers have already reaped 3.1 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yield of 2.84 t/ha throughout 1.077 mln ha (98%).
